Just read this comment from the user who buy this desktop cradle, Bryan said that he was currently using the Evo naked and have noticed a little bit of wobble in the dock, but nothing severe, and when the phone is just sitting idle there is no problem. He think this is due to the connector being long enough to fit well in a cased HTC Evo. Overall, this is a good dock that keeps his phone charged while he’s stuck in the cubicle.
There is a green light on the back of the dock to show that it has power. It does charge and sync your phone. It has that soft touch look and feel, just like the Innocase cases. There are 2 rubbery type feet on the bottom so the dock does not slide around on the table.
The phone slips onto the dock pretty easily and seems very secure although you handset use Extended battery and the Innocase active case (modified with a hole cut out of the back for the battery), you can still use the dock without any plate.
