While this is an OtterBox Commuter case for old (first) version of HTC Desire, not for the HD version. As we know that the first series has a about 3.7-inch touchscreen display with the handset dimension about 2.4x 4.7 x 0.5 inches, while the Desire HD has 4.3-inch display with dimension about 2.68 x 4.84 x 0.46 inches.
So, please do not buy a wrong product for your handset, if you have a HTC Desire HD can find it on my older post about OtterBox for Desire HD. This case comes with access to all buttons and features. This case combines the impact protection of a rubber/silicone cover with the smooth finish of a hard shell cover. It is also one of the only covers that I have found that covers/protects the earphone and power jacks as well.
This HTC Desire OtterBox Commuter Series is an ideal case. It’s very light weight and doesn’t bother you at all. This case is easy to install, and it takes all the knocks of being in a purse and once being dropped without any problem at all.
The OtterBox Commuter Series for HTC Desire fits perfectly like a glove, it protects beautifully and does not interfere with any phone functions. The only thing some user could detract is that the hard outer shell is slightly slippery compared to most of the soft rubber or gel cases, but this is absolutely no reason not to pick this up.
